For this workshop, I will use various flowers and vegetables from Green Door Gourmet to show you a few different  natural dye processes. After our demo, we will have a hands-on dyeing session where attendees can experiment with the different methods. Bandanas will be provided for each guest, and it is also encouraged to bring 1-2 small items of your own to add to the baths!

While the fabrics are in their dye bath, lead Green Door Flower Farmer, Laura Dison, will guide us through a private tour of their beautiful flower fields.

After the tour we will break for a snack and lead flower designer Kelly Ross will lead you in building your own hand-tied bouquet making demo. Attendees will then make their own bouquets with all local and organic flowers grown right here on the farm!
